Eagle Inspection Services, LLC is a locally owned company providing the Virginia Piedmont and Northern Virginia with professional and reliable Home Inspection services. Purchasing a home is an exciting yet stressful time. The goal of Eagle Inspection Services is to help reduce the stress by offering the home-buyer an opportunity to get to know their future home intimately through the Home Inspection. A Home Inspection should be interactive and educational for the Buyer even as the Inspector is carefully reviewing the many systems that create the total home. To that end, we encourage the Buyer or Owner to participate in the inspection and to feel free to ask questions. EIS offers pre-purchase, pre-listing, new construction, informational and periodic maintenance consultations as well as home energy conservation plans. Our goal is to ensure our clients are well-informed home buyers and owners.

The Owner and Inspector for Eagle Inspection Services, LLC is Bob Banker, a 17-year Fauquier County resident. Bob is an Electrical Engineer and a 20-year Navy Submarine Force veteran. After leaving the Navy, Bob was employed by a Fortune 500 defense contracting firm as a Senior Engineer and Manager. In that role, he was deeply involved in working with people and guiding the development of complex systems. Upon his retirement, Bob decided to apply his keen eye for detail, his familiarity with complex and inter-related systems, his ability to communicate and, most importantly, his desire to help others understand the homes they are about to purchase or have been living in for years by starting Eagle Inspection Services, LLC.
Bob's credentials are:
- Member - National Association of Certified Home Inspectors
(NACHI)
- Graduate of the Inspection Training Associates
(ITA)
Enhanced Residential Home Inspection course of instruction
- Graduate of the ITA Residential New Construction Inspection course of instruction.
- Successfully completed the rigorous
National Home Inspector Examination
as well as a comprehensive Standards and Ethics Examination.
- Appointed as the Northern Virginia contract arbitrator for the Construction Arbitration Program - Home (CAP-Home) administered by
DeMars and Associates
